2014 Diner Mug

Our 4th edition of the classic diner with a new custom artwork "we eat coffee for breakfast".

With a satisfying presence and robust design, our diner mugs exude a simple confidence and semper fi solidity that never fails. First introduced around WWII, the mugs low centre of gravity and tank-like build quality was well suited to the needs of mobile military forces at the time leading the US Army and Navy services to adopted the mug as standard issue.

Not long after every G.I. and Marine was toting one, the popularity of the mug spread everywhere coffee was served on the East Coast of America. The mug would become synonymous with diner coffee culture, so much so that they became commonly referred to as a diner mug.

Fast-forward 70-plus years and Coffee Supreme is helping the diner mug find a new home in New Zealand. This is our 4th edition of the classic diner mug printed by the leading US based military mug company, Military Art Career Collectables, who have printed all authentic diner mugs since 1967.
