About this coffee
A Brazilian reserve micro-lot suitable for espresso and plunger from our friends at FAF.
Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF), run by the Croce family in the Mococa region of Minas Gerais, is a model example of the new breed of coffee farms in Brazil. In a country known for quantity over quality, monoculture farm practices, FAF is proving year after year that a quality driven, low volume approach with a focus on the environment and farm health is a sustainable and profitable business model. We’ve been sourcing our Bob-O-Link coffee from their network of associate farms for a few years and we’re proud to now offer this reserve micro-lot from their own farm.
The proceeds from the sales of this coffee are going to the Autism Intervention Trust in Wellington, a charitable trust that provides support to children with autism and their families. The Trust has been set up by parents with first-hand experience of the issues facing children with autism. You can find out more about by visiting their website. Buying this coffee will help support holiday programmes for the children of the Trust in the Wellington region.
